Milwaukee officials have settled a lawsuit filed by a private ambulance service after a crash during a police pursuit in 2022.
The police officer was chasing a homicide suspect when he blew through a stop sign. His cruiser crashed into the Bell ambulance, according to Fox6Now.
People in both vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The suit accused the officer of being negligent saying he had a "statutory duty" to slow down.
The city settled the suit for $60,000 which is $36,000 less than what the ambulance service sought.
